Dear Families,

FOURTH NOTICE:

This year, our fall Parent Teacher Conferences for grades 9 -12 will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday November 17th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Please note the following information regarding the format of these conferences:

Appointments will be five minutes in lengthShould additional time be needed, please contact your child’s teacher.

We will be using TeacherReacher to make virtual conference appointments. If you haven’t already done so, please set up a parent account as soon as possible and begin scheduling your appointments. Registration is now open! A step-by-step guide is available on the TeacherReacher website for your reference, to help you in the registration process. On the Teacher Reacher main page, scroll down to the bottom and then click “Tutorials” at the bottom right in the dark gray box. Then choose “Parent Tutorials”.

If there is a teacher or staff member that you wish to speak to, but is not listed on TeacherReacher, please reach out to them directly to arrange a time to speak or let our Parent Coordinator, Vivian Cruz (vcruz@meca-nyc.org) know that you require assistance. You can also reach out to our admin team for help:

It is imperative that all conferences begin and end at their scheduled times. The times of the scheduled appointments will be strictly followed. If you happen to be late or miss your scheduled appointment, you may request a phone conference or a teacher meeting for a date in the future. Scheduling multiple conferences in a very short period of time may result in missing one or more of your scheduled appointments.

Looking forward to productive conversations!

Warmly,

Sarah Kaplan
